Oljato Chapter is located in the northern portion of the
Western Agency. The chapter includes the scenic area of
Monument Valley and Mexican Hat. The Navajo Nation is
planning a resort at Monument Valley in order to capture a
better share of the tourism market.
The Oljato Chapter conducts monthly meetings to keep
residents informed; residents have a forum to express their
opinions to their Navajo Nation Council Delegate or to
decide on matters concerning their chapter.
